Rethink Your Pocket Squares

Rethink Your Pocket Squares

Pocket squares have been considered a formal accessory since... forever.  When we think about this wonderful accessory, we have in mind the ubiqutous suit jacket. For some reason, we can't really separate the two.

I'm here to tell you different. Taking chances in style means wearing intriguing yet tasteful combinations.

I've rediscovered the pocket square and started wearing it on pea coats, vests and even leather jackets. The result: amazing!

When it comes to color matching, you basically don't need to know anything new. Just color match it the way you would do it with a suit:

- you can repeat the shirt color
- or it can be a bold color that's not being used anywhere else in your attire

One last thing: try not to wear pocket squares with your shirts. There are a few reasons for this.

First off, you should never put anything in your shirt's pocket (except a pen with business casual attire)

Second, it would be too obvious. For centuries, men have worn the trio shirt-suit jacket-pocket square and they never put the pocket square inside the shirt.

Pocket squares are just one of the many accessories. The fun starts when you try to mix and match several of them. The Be Stylish Package ™ will teach you everyhing you need to know.
