One of the most stylish patterns out there is the fishbone. While it may look dull at first glance, it works wonders if you know HOW to match it.

I remember about a year ago I bought my dad a fantastinc fishbone sports jacket. He's a middle-aged man and loved my gift.

I was so excited with the purchase that I went back to that store to get one for myself.

Surprise! They were OUT. That was the *old collection*, they told me.

If you ever find a fishbone paterned sports coat or overcoat, here's what I want you to do.

First, try it on! If it's a little bigger, no problem. Buy it, then take i to the tailor for adjustments.

Second, use my tips for making it the fishbone pattern work. Fishbone consists entirely of grey and black so his means you have to use other colors to stand out.

If you're wearing a fishbone blazer, try a brown turtleneck or a brown V-neck sweater + a white shirt.

Another color to try with fishbone is dark-blue. Get a simple turtleneck in his color, then maybe some white chinos and a blue bracelet.

Here's the thing: white, black and grey are neutral. THis means you can match them with pretty much ANY color you want.

For instance, go for a solid yellow V-neck and a white shirt. Finish the look with a grey pair of chinos and a black and white sneaker. Add a white pocket square and you're THE MAN.

Being well dressed means more than matching your socks to your pants. I means taking into consideration several factors that most men NEVER think about. It's about taking care of the basics, mixing the right colors and patterns and, of course, using the power of accessories.

Never be afraid to mix more than 2 colors, or more than one pattern. If you're not particualrly handsome and you can't get most women to look at you when they pass you in the street... you're doing something wrong. Educate yourself and keep boosting your outfits be bolder and bolder.

Here's where most people get scared: looking like a try-hard. They always think they might overdo it if they wear just a litle color. Let me tell you something: that's hogwash.

Once you get out of that nice comfort zone, you'll notice that almost everyone you pass in the street is looking at you. That's a GOOD sign. That means you're making progress.

Get those grey suede leather boots, get that yellow pocket square, get that brown turtleneck and dark-blue down vest. They'll be your allies on this never ending style journey.

The lost art of kissing

I have listened to so many of my married friends say, “I miss making out.” We yearn for no-strings-attached fooling around where we can make out without the immediate expectation of sex. There’s something thrilling about going at it like school kids on the couch or in the car (or, better yet, in a secret public place). 

A few tips for reviving your kissing techniques and bringing the fun back to old-school make-out sessions:

1- Kiss her and let your tongue touch the very edge of her lips. The soft sensations will drive her absolutely wild.

2- Use your lips to “nibble” her bottom lip or, if you’re verrrry careful, you can even use your teeth for a gentle bite. Just proceed with caution.

3- Kiss her with an open mouth and then pull away ever so slightly, allowing your tongues to continue dancing. Guys seem to really like this form of kissing.
